PAT African American Celebration

The African American Celebration Committee presents "The Afro-Latino Experience". The celebration focuses on the wide expanse of nations in the Caribbean, Central America and South America that, like the U.S., have their own histories that include the stories, culture, and contributions of African descendants.
Guest artists include the band "Folklore Urbano" and Brazilian Capoeristas. The BFS Dance Team, vocalists from BFS and area public schools will also perform. There will be a wonderful Latino themed dinner celebration, at 6 pm in the Cafeteria and performances start at 7 pm. More information.
