Clowning Around at BFS
BFS Upper School students enjoyed an April visit from Tom Dougherty, BFS alum and headlining clown of "Over The Top," the brand-new show from Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus. Tom is currently on tour, but spent a wonderful day BFS in between performances at Madison Square Garden. As a guest artist, Tom shared his insights on the arts of the clown and of the theater, through discussion and amazing classwork. (Also read our alum profile of Tom.)
