Exemplary Community Volunteerism at Quaker Cemetery |
|
Our November 19th Work Day at the Prospect Park Quaker Cemetery was a huge success! There were more than 140 BFS volunteers in attendance. Bulbs were planted, nearly all of the cemetery was raked clean, and topsoil was spread over the new ramp, which was a huge undertaking. Whether you volunteered to man the lobby table, spread the word through e-mails,and/or came and helped out for 10 minutes or the whole day, every bit counted. We appreciate our families' time and service to the community! Click on the headline to view a photo album from the Work Day, courtesy of BFS parent and community service co-chair Susan Ferugio.
