Whenever
a student at BFS undertakes a research project they are obligated to
follow certain moral principles as well as legal guidelines dictated by
copyright law.
These include:
- You may never use a paper that someone else has written and call it your own.
- You may never use the words or ideas of another and claim them as your own.
- You
may never use a paper you have written for one class and turn it in for
another class, unless you have the permission of your teacher.

When you are doing research and find some information that you would
like to include in your project, you must give credit to the source of
this information unless it is general knowledge. To neglect to do this
is plagiarism.
