WHERE/WHEN:
at BROOKLYN FRIENDS SCHOOL on Saturday, March 13, 2010 from 10AM till 2PM.
DETAILS:
Directed by Gary Ryan (BFS Chess Teacher)
and Madame Perry (BFS French/Latin Teacher).
Entry fee is $25
Students must be accompanied by an adult.
All participants receive a medal or trophy.
Students play 4 one hour games (Game/30min.)
Unrated sections according to grade level ... Level K /
Level 1-2 / Level 3-4 / Level 5-6 / Level 7-8.
Rated sections according to U.S. Chess Federation rating …
Level 600 (USCF 600 and below) / Level 800 (USCF 800 and below) /
Level 1000 (USCF 1000 and below) / Level 1200 (USCF 1200 and below) etc.
High School MUST play rated games. (USCF membership required/
available for rated players on-site for once per year additional fee.)
Please arrive 1 hour early to assure a tournament slot
and to facilitate the 10AM start time. Bring lunch.
