Commencement Speakers Announced |

Nancy Gibbs, Executive Editor of TIME Magazine (pictured), will be the commencement speaker at the BFS graduation to be held on June 9, 2010, 8 pm at the
Brooklyn Bridge Marriott.
BFS alum Dena Douglas '83, a Brooklyn Civil Court Judge, recipient of the George Fox Distinguished Alumna Award, will also speak at the
ceremony. The two student speakers will be Asha Boston and Andrew Lamb The graduating class selected physics teacher Joe Kremer to be the faculty speaker.

Zip-lining through the Rain Forest |

A group of 23 eighth graders and three teachers spent a week in Costa Rica zip-lining over the rainforest, watersliding into natural hot springs, touring the capital San Jose, exploring the biodiversity of the Monteverde Cloud Forest, and visiting Tortuero National Park.
