Three BFS alums will be participating in local art fairs and theater at the beginning of March. - Chloe Cheau '06 is exhibiting at the inaugural Verge Art Brooklyn fair in
DUMBO Thursday through Sunday at 55 Washington Street, Fourth Floor, Suites
415 & 416 and at 20 Jay Street, Third Floor, Suite 305 and Eighth Floor,
Suite 838, free admission. A preview of of Chloe's artwork can be seen
at chloecheau.com. Verge Art Brooklyn is one of the many art fairs happening
during Armory Arts Week.
- Fountain Art New York will be at Pier 66
Maritime, 26th Street & 12th Avenue in Hudson River Park, Manhattan,
Thursday through Sunday, admission is $10. Co-founded by John Leo
'92, Fountain Art is known world-wide as a
premier alternative
exhibition of avant-garde galleries and art collectives, with art fairs in
Miami, Chicago, and in New York City for Armory Arts Week.
- If you're looking for theater, Robert J. Weinstein '81 directs William
Shakespeare's Hamlet, Prince of Denmark, presented by the Heights
Players, 26 Willow Place in Brooklyn Heights, running weekends
beginning March 4 and
ending March 20. Rob has directed for the Heights Players for over 20 years
