The BFS Quaker Self-Study Committees are pleased
to announce that five gatherings for parents will be held in January
2012 centered around discussion of the book A Quaker Book of Wisdom by Robert Lawrence Smith. Head of School Larry Weiss will lead the discussions along with a member of the Self-Study Committee. Three gatherings will be held in the homes of BFS parents, and two will be at school.
Dates and locations are:
- Thursday,
January 5, 6:00-8:00 PM, Park Slope
- Tuesday,
January 10, 6:00-8:00 PM, Lefferts Gardens, with Spanish translation. (Ofreceremos

- Tuesday,
January 24, 6:30-8:00 PM, Family Center @ BFS, 189 Schermerhorn Street (Child care available
this date only).
