Please contact the K-12 Admissions Office at (718) 852-1029 ext. 232 for additional information. KINDERGARTEN TOURS—Tours for Kindergarten only (for the 2009-10 year) will be held on Monday, April 28 at 9:30 am and Wednesday, May 7 at 9:30 am. RSVP necessary to 718-852-1029 ext. 232. PRESCHOOL NEWS & TOUR—The Preschool is now fully enrolled for September 2008 and we are not accepting applications for the 2008-2009 school year at this time. We are currently revising our admissions materials for the 2009-2010 school year. Updated information about our program, fall tours, and application materials will be posted by mid-August on our website.Thank you for your interest in Brooklyn Friends Preschool. If you have any questions please call us at 718-852-1029, ext 240. A tour for Threes and Fours only (for the 2009-10 year) will be held on Thursday, April 24, 9:15 am. RSVP necessary to 718-852-1029 ext. 213. November 20, 2007 UPDATE: Because of very limited space in our rising 1st grade and the number of applications already received, we can no longer guarantee an appointment for an interview for applications received after November 20. If you still wish to apply, please send in an application (by November 30) without the application fee. We will contact you if more spaces become available. NOTE: Fall 2007 tours for K-12 September 2008 enrollment will conclude on November 29. Accepted applicants who have not had a fall tour will have an opportunity to tour the school before their contracts are due. Any tours scheduled after that time are for September 2009 enrollment. September 28, 2007 UPDATE: Applications for Preschool 4s and Family Center are currently exceeding anticipated openings, and the deadline for application to these classes is now Wednesday, October 3, 2007. Applications received after that date will be placed in a wait pool. September 21, 2007 UPDATE: Applications for Preschool 2s and 3s are currently exceeding anticipated openings, and the deadline for application to these classes is now Thursday, September 27, 2007. Applications received after that date will be placed in a wait pool. We have many applications for Family Center and Preschool 4s as well, and we anticipate having to close applications for these classes within a few weeks. Please apply soon. NOTE: Preschool applications for siblings of current students, siblings of those who are applying to other grades at BFS, children of alumni/ae, and children of members of the NY Quarterly Meeting, will continue to be accepted until November 30, although we would appreciate receiving the application before then. In view of the high demand for the Preschool program at Brooklyn Friends, we are pleased to announce that in 2008-2009, we will offer an afternoon class for Preschool 3s. The schedule for this five-day-a-week program will be from 12:30 to 3:00 pm. Kindergarten and Grade 1—Applications must be received at BFS by (not mailed by) 4 pm on Friday, November 30, 2007. Grade 2 through grade 11—Applications must be received at BFS by (not mailed by) 4 pm on Friday, December 7, 2007.
