Music and Song and Crafts and Gifts and Giving The Crafts Fair and Winterfest on Saturday, Dec. 9th raised more than $5,000 for programs benefiting BFS children. It enabled us to donate $500 to the CHIPS soup kitchen and bring ten filled-to-the-brim bags of gifts and toys for the children at St. Johns Place Center in Crown Heights. The first day of the book fair was spectacularly successful sales-wise, and families and students heard exquisite music and song from the Chorus, Orchestra, and Jazz Band.
