Celebrate the Afro-Latino Experience

The upcoming February 3rd African-American Celebration focuses on the Afro-Latino Experience, and will be dedicated to BFS faculty and community member, Norma Gordon, who is retiring after more than 30 years at Brooklyn Friends. There is a pre-celebration gathering with activities for young children, starting at 5:30 pm in the lower gym,  followed by a Latino-themed dinner in the cafeteria at 6:00 pm, and performances at 7:00 pm with special guest musicians FOLKLORE URBANO.  Scroll down for the complete schedule, or download an information sheet.
