Parent Resources on Drug and Alcohol Dependency

Our March 9th coffee hour featured The
Freedom Institute, a NYC-based drug
education, use prevention, and treatment center
that has been holding workshops with some groups of students and
faculty this spring. Margie Terry, the counselor from the Freedom
Institute, gave a very informative talk, followed by Q&A, to
parents of students ranging from 5th through 12th grade. Anyone
interested in the information packet from this workshop can contact
the Upper or Middle School office, or Whitney Thompson, Health
Department Chair, to request a copy.
