Parent Resources on Drug and Alcohol Dependency
Recommended by The Freedom Institute of NYC

Our March 9th coffee hour featured The Freedom Institute, a NYC-based drug education, use prevention, and treatment center that has been holding workshops with some groups of students and faculty this spring. Margie Terry, the counselor from the Freedom Institute, gave a very informative talk, followed by Q&A, to parents of students ranging from 5th through 12th grade. Anyone interested in the information packet from this workshop can contact the Upper or Middle School office, or Whitney Thompson, Health Department Chair, to request a copy.

Below is a list of resources suggested by The Freedom Institute, which address several topics that came up at the coffee hour.
