The PAT sponsors a Speakers Series that brings distinguished authors and lecturers to the school several times a year. The series was inaugurated in the 2005-2006 school year with visits by Harvard professor and author Dr. Sara Lawrence Lightfoot and the well known child psychologist Dr. Michael Thompson. Subsequent speakers have included Dr. Robert Brooks, Rosalind Wiseman, Josh Dorfman, Dr. Roni Cohen-Sandler, Jane Katch, Elizabeth Bailey, Joie Jager Hayman, and Rev. Paula Lawrence Wehmiller. In the spring of 2010, the PAT sponsored a panel presentation on "Spirituality and Education" led by Princeton professor (and BFS alumna) Yolanda Pierce.

Anthony E. Wolf, Ph.D., clinical psychologist and the author of many bestselling books, including Get Out of My Life, but First Could You Drive Me & Cheryl to the Mall and The Secret of Parenting will provide advice on dealing with a range of difficult issues and challenges related to the pre-teen and teenaged years. He has worked with children and adolescents for more than thirty years and lectures widely on parenting topics
