The Student Experience at BFS
|

Being a member of the Brooklyn Friends School community requires not only a strong commitment to academic achievement, but to one's individual and social growth. The student experience at BFS embraces participation in athletics, the performing and visual arts, extracurricular activities and clubs, and service to the community. Our students represent the school in interscholastic sports on 30 different teams, they stage three theatrical shows, a dance concert and six music concerts throughout the school year, and they become engaged in myriad community service initiatives. Quaker meeting, overnight trips and the opportunity to travel abroad add another dimension to the students' experience.
